Hafiz Maulana Wahiduz Zaman Iqbal Sheikh Hafiz Maulana Wahiduz Zaman Iqbal has been serving our masjid in the capacity of Imam and Islamic Hifz teacher at Masjid since 2013. He completed his Hifz (Quran Memorization) at the Jamia Tawakkulia Renga Madrasa a renowned Islamic institute in Sylhet, Bangladesh. He then went to compete his Islamic Sciences and Aalimiyyah degree graduation at Jamea Madania Baridhara Gulshan Dhaka Bangladesh. Sheikh has taught Islamic Science at Jamia Tawakkulia Renga Madrasa, Sylhet Bangladesh for few year before moving over to the UK in the early 2000. Since coming to the UK Sheikh has served as Imam and Islamic class teacher at various Masjids in Walsall, Bournemouth and London Such as East London Mosque, Ford Square Masjid and Mazahirul Uloom Mile End. Alhamdulillah Sheikh is happily married with 4 children and currently residing with his family in London. Currently Sheikh is the Friday Khatib and Weekend Imam and Hifz teacher at our Masjid and also teaching at Lansbury Estate Masjid.

Sheikh is also busy with other Islamic activities such as conducting Islamic marriages, giving family advice and attending various Islamic events and cultural programmes. We pray that Allah gives our Sheikh a long and happy life and accept his service for our Masjid. Ameen
